A lot of people ask me why I dress as superheroes and walk 100km every September? Why?!! Midlife crisis but can’t afford the sports car? A penchant for lycra?
What started out as a mate’s dare has blossomed into my driving passion for helping kids doing it tough, the ones you rarely hear about but need it the most.
This year, with your help, we have the opportunity to help a family who is facing the unimaginable nightmare of losing their child to a terminal illness.
On 28 September, I’ll be walking from Lake Macquarie to Manly dressed as some of my fav superheroes for Bear Cottage. You’ll be meeting these extraordinary
superheroes next week and learning more about the vital care they provide families in their toughest of times.
