For the first time, we’re inviting you to join team Superhero Walk and fundraise for a much-needed playground at
Maroubra Bay Public School.
You can join team Superhero Walk and set up your own fundraising page where you can ask your friends and family to sponsor you. No donation is too small and no donation too large! It will take all of the Maroubra and South East local community to make sure we hit our target of $24,000.

You can join Tasman for a lap (or many) around Heffron Park in your best superhero costume on Saturday 21 September between 12pm – 5pm or Sunday 22 September between 7am – 12pm. Tasman will be walking with a small team of Superheroes outside these hours as he completes his 24-hour mission.
We’ll be walking at a leisurely pace, completing 1 lap (3.4km) around Heffron Park every hour. Each hour will feature a different superhero. You’re welcome to come dressed as that superhero, any other superhero or even your own made up superhero. All superheroes are welcome including adults, parents, kids and even superhero dogs!
At the start of every hour, we’ll be setting off from the council amenities in South West part of Heffron Park where the synthetic soccer field is. We’ll be on the walking path which is mostly flat and very easy to follow. We’ll have a few volunteers around the course to cheer you on!
There are no street crossings however there is one crossing of a car park where the cricket nets are which will be manned by a volunteer.
Please bring sunscreen, water (trust us those costumes can get hot), snacks and a total lack of shame. Please make sure you take any rubbish with you.
There’s no need to register – simply come dressed in your best Superhero costume and join the Superheroes!
