We made it!
After walking from Sydney dressed as superheroes, we arrived exhausted and jubilant into Shellharbour on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to you we’ve so far raised $6,146 for the KidzWish Appeals Program which is over double what we raised last year. I had the honour of meeting the three families the Superhero Walk will be helping and I was humbled by the positive impact it will have on their lives. I’ll be sharing these courageous stories with you very soon. Donations are still w

Is this even possible?
Laid before me is tomorrow’s superhero outfit and I’m pretty sure its mocking me. Weeks ago I ordered some costumes online which didn’t arrive so I find myself staring at whatever the $2 shop had. And it ain’t pretty. Last year’s Superhero Walk had me in tailor made lycra outfits that left little to the imagination. Which in my condition, is not a good thing. I’ve been walking for weeks but this is the first time dressed as a superhero. I’m hoping to have the neighbourhood to myself before the locals emerge looking puzzled; why is that bloke dressed as Superman? That’s odd. And it is odd. But I’ve made a commitment and as I’m quic

Help show kids anything is possible
When Jacob outgrew his wheelchair he had no choice but to put an ad in the local paper asking for help. Jacob like every kid with Cerebral Palsy, just wanted to be able to move around his house and “be seen as a better person”. Local superheroes KidzWish answered and provided Jacob with a new motorised wheelchair. “From where I was, to where I am now, is a miracle” said Jacob. Each year the Superhero Walk fundraises for the real superheroes. In 2016 we’re committed to raisi
